I have always been intrigued by geometric design. When I was in college I took a 2d design class which turned out to be one of my favorite classes. I recently saw a video on youtube about how to create one of those hipster geometric photo designs. After watching the video I decided to give a crack at it. I took one of my old photos of the NYC Skyline as the image I would use for this design. In the tutorial it said that using photos with a lot of contrast and texture work the best. The skyline photo had plenty of contrast and textures. After playing around in photoshop I came up with this. I love the way this came out, I plan on doing more of these in the future.
